Cromer Watercolour 1000 piece Jigsaw Puzzle.  Based from a Watercolour by Herbert Sandell

1,000 piece Photo Jigsaw Puzzles:

The jigsaw puzzles we produce are like no other short run puzzles on the market. Typically short run puzzles are printed using a roll feed inkjet printer and this means they can only print on a uncoated stock, which results in flat print. This doesn’t really represent your photography as it should be.

Through my contacts in print I managed to secure an agreement to produce the A2 sheets needed for the puzzles themselves. There are only 2 of these machines in the country. It prints on a silk stock and goes through a sealing process after printing. The resulting print from this is amazing and has the feel to it that people want from a puzzle. These sheets are then bonded to a 1.5mm luxury blue puzzle board

Finished puzzle size 48 x 69 cm approx proportions 1:1.41
1.5mm luxury board FSC certified/recycled
Box Size 33 x 20 x 5 cm approx Cardboard FSC cert/recycled

Paul Macro Photography

A photograph is a unique moment, never to reoccur – captured forever.

The sights, sounds, and smells of the Norfolk coast are woven into my soul; my happy childhood is a bright tapestry of memories.

I’m a Norfolk man, born and brought up in Norwich. Seaside holidays at Burnham Overy Staithe with my parents and younger sister, Kelly, played an important part in my childhood. Several times a year, at all times of the year, my family spent holidays and weekends in our caravan, where the beauty of Norfolk’s unspoiled beaches and wide skies provided the backdrop to our other world, where there was peace and contentment and sibling harmony.

People have commented that there’s a distinctive style to my Norfolk landscape photography, and I believe that my work is rapidly becoming one of the most recognisable representations of the county.

My passion for Norfolk’s dark winter skies and rough seas, fiery sunsets and tough, wind-slapped greenery was born from an early exposure to these beauties – before I knew they were beautiful.

I’m proud to sponsor Norfolk-based charities. My popular Norfolk landscape charity calendars (which have reached every continent in the world!) have raised funds for many local charities, including Cromer RNLI, Nelson’s Journey, and Red Balloon. But my charitable work hasn’t all been a still pool of serenity – there were a few ripples when an anxious Mr Macro photographed naked ladies for Break! My life has been shaped by the landscape and the people of Norfolk. This is my way of giving a little bit back.

Do I have any dreams or ambitions? Well, I’d love to see the Northern Lights ‘close up’, I’d like to visit Borneo’s orang-utan sanctuary, and most of all, I dream of owning a caravan at Burnham Overy Staithe, where we – my partner, Sarah, and our children, Bethany and Molly, can recreate the happy holidays of my childhood.
